The Music Hall MMF-9.3 Walnut turntable employs a distinctive triple plinth design that isolates critical sound components such as the platter, main bearing, tonearm, and cartridge on the top platform, separated from the adjustable tip-toe feet and wiring on the bottom platform. The motor and speed controls are isolated on their own vibration damping base, fully decoupled from the turntable, with Sorbothane hemispheres providing additional suspension and vibration damping. It features a one-piece full carbon fiber tonearm with a counterweight designed to act as a resonance damper. The turntable includes a completely isolated DC motor with electronic speed controls for 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, located to minimize vibration transfer. The platter is a non-resonant, 1-inch thick acrylic with a soft felt mat. It comes with high-quality gold RCA connectors, a detachable phono cable, adjustable tip-toe feet with anti-scratch cups, a built-in round spirit level, dust cover, and 45 rpm adaptor. The MMF-9.3 is available with or without the optional Goldring Eroica LX low-output moving-coil cartridge with Gyger II line contact stylus, which is properly aligned and mounted if included. This turntable is praised for its quiet, fluid operation due to its inverted ceramic main bearing and low noise manual belt drive design. It weighs 40 lbs and measures 18.25" x 13.25" x 7.25".
