The Music Hall 25.3 DAC combines a state-of-the-art Burr-Brown PCM1796 24bit/192kHz DAC with an electro-harmonix 6922 tube output stage to deliver the clarity and precision of a 24-bit DAC with the warm, natural sound of tubes. It supports four digital inputs: coaxial (S/PDIF), optical (Tos-Link), XLR (AES/EBU), and USB, making it compatible with virtually any digital source. The DAC upsamples incoming signals to either 96kHz or 192kHz, selectable via front panel control, and employs an advanced asynchronous reclocking and anti-jitter control system with a high precision active crystal oscillator master clock. The unit features both RCA single-ended and XLR balanced analog outputs, as well as a headphone output with adjustable volume control. The chassis is constructed from thick brushed aluminum with a solid build and includes a large high-current power supply and a voltage-selectable transformer (110v/220v). This DAC is designed to significantly improve sound quality from digital sources such as computers, media servers, and digital transports.
