The MTX TN1000.1 Terminator is a mono block Class D amplifier designed for subwoofer applications, featuring a compact chassis to fit tight spaces. It delivers true RMS power output of 1000 watts at 1 ohm, 700 watts at 2 ohms, and 400 watts at 4 ohms, with less than 0.3% total harmonic distortion and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 95 dB. The amplifier includes variable gain and crossover controls, a bass boost adjustable from 0 to 12 dB at 45 Hz, and a subsonic filter adjustable from 10 Hz to 55 Hz. It has a low-pass crossover frequency range of 50 to 250 Hz with a 12 dB/octave slope. The unit is protected against under/over voltage, thermal, and short circuits, and features an LED status indicator. A remote bass control knob is included for convenient bass level adjustment. The amplifier uses surface mount technology for reliability and vibration resistance, and it accepts speaker level inputs but does not have preamp outputs.
