The DAC supports up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 playback, including MQA decoding from Tidal. It includes multiple digital inputs such as SPDIF RCA, AES/EBU XLR, BNC, I2S Pro, and USB Quad DSD. The Diamond Power Base power supply is tightly regulated, filtered, and shielded, employing rapid Silicon Carbide Schottky Diodes for minimal noise and jitter. The DAC also features an advanced 32X digital filter and reclocking for virtually jitter-free data delivery. Manufactured in California with precision CNC machining and SMT assembly, the DAC V is designed for audiophile-grade performance with integrated analog volume control and preamp capabilities. The v2 renderer option allows streaming music directly to the DAC without a computer, supporting bit-perfect playback.
