The MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed is a closed-back, over-ear planar-magnetic headphone using the company’s V-Planar diaphragm and TrueFlow technology. It has a 13-ohm impedance and approximately 92–93 dB/mW efficiency, but its planar drivers can still benefit from a capable headphone amplifier rather than being an ideal match for every smartphone or tablet. The headphone uses carbon-fiber ear cups, NiTinol memory-metal headband elements, glued pleather earpads, and a detachable approximately 2-meter cable with Hirose-style connectors. It weighs approximately 340 g without the cable. The package typically includes a carrying case, tuning filters, and plug adapters. Its closed-back design provides isolation while retaining a spacious presentation, with a generally balanced tonal character and controlled bass. The Aeon Flow Closed is a discontinued MrSpeakers-era model; the company subsequently adopted the Dan Clark Audio name.
