About the MA5
The Morrow Audio MA5 interconnect cables contain 72 runs of SSI Technology wire per channel, where SSI stands for Solid core, Small gauge, Individually insulated wires. These cables are handcrafted and designed to remove major distortions common in other cable designs, providing a low noise floor and excellent RFI rejection. They are flexible, easy to manage, and suitable for line level applications such as phono preamp to preamp, CD player to preamp or integrated amp, and preamp to power amp. The MA5 cables cannot be used on turntables. Termination options include Standard RCA (gold plated), KLE Copper Harmony RCA, KLE Pure Harmony RCA (silver), and XLR Balanced Male and Female connectors with silver-coated connectors. The Harmony RCA connectors extend the SSI technology through the connector for an additional refinement. The cable requires about 400 hours to fully break in for optimal performance. Users report improved dynamics, definition, a deep soundstage, very black backgrounds, and better punch and clarity in bass. Available in pairs or single cables and also in Y cable configurations for bi-amping or subwoofer applications.
