The Moon by Simaudio Neo 430HA is a high-end headphone amplifier designed to deliver exceptional audio performance. It features a fully balanced, pure analog design using a discrete transconductance circuit topology. The amplifier is rated at 667mW at 600 ohms and 8W at 50 ohms, making it capable of driving a wide range of headphones to their full potential. It includes one balanced and two unbalanced pairs of inputs, as well as balanced and unbalanced headphone outputs. The balanced outputs are available on a four-pin XLR and dual three-pin XLR, while the unbalanced output uses a ¼" TRS jack. Additionally, it offers a front-panel 1/8" jack for connecting portable audio devices and includes two line-level outputs (one fixed and one variable), allowing it to function as a preamplifier. An optional DAC can be added to enhance its functionality with digital sources.
