About the Player

moOde Audio Player is free, open-source, audiophile-oriented music-player and streaming software for Raspberry Pi single-board computers. It runs as a lightweight audio appliance with a responsive web interface, using Music Player Daemon (MPD) and ALSA for local-library playback and hardware output. It supports local USB and network storage, internet radio, USB audio devices, Raspberry Pi I2S DAC HATs, HDMI audio, AirPlay reception, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth audio, UPnP/DLNA functions, multiroom playback, resampling, equalization, DSP, GPIO controls, and optional Roon Bridge or Logitech Media Server integration. Audio performance and maximum resolution depend on the selected Raspberry Pi, DAC, output interface, and configuration. The project remains actively developed and distributed as open-source software; it is not a conventional manufactured hardware product.
