The Monitor Audio Silver RX6 is a high-performance 2.5-way bass-reflex floorstanding speaker designed for main or stereo use. It incorporates two 6-inch Ceramic-Coated Aluminum Magnesium (C-CAM) drivers with Rigid Surface Technology (RST) that enhances cone rigidity and reduces distortion, paired with a 1-inch gold C-CAM dome tweeter offering an extended frequency response up to 35kHz. The speaker uses a two-chamber HiVe II bass reflex system for improved low-frequency extension and efficiency. It has a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, sensitivity of 90dB, and is recommended to be driven by amplifiers rated between 40 and 125 watts RMS. The cabinet is constructed with real wood veneers or optional high-gloss finishes, mounted on a heavy cast-metal plinth with adjustable feet for stability. Dimensions including the plinth are approximately 275mm wide, 905mm high, and 310mm deep, weighing about 16.4 kg (36.13 lbs). The Silver RX6 offers a maximum sound pressure level of 114.8 dBA and crossover frequencies at 700Hz and 2.7kHz for seamless driver integration.
