The Monitor Audio Platinum PL200 II is a premium 3-way, 4-driver floorstanding loudspeaker from the acclaimed Platinum II series, produced between 2016 and 2022. It features two 6.5" RDT II long-throw bass drivers, a dedicated 4" RDT II midrange driver, and a Micro Pleated Diaphragm (MPD) high-frequency transducer, delivering extended frequency response from 35 Hz to 100 kHz. The PL200 II is engineered for both musical accuracy and expressive dynamics, with a sensitivity of 90 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Its elegant cabinet is available in luxurious finishes such as Ebony, Santos Rosewood, and Piano Black, with a leather front baffle for both acoustic and aesthetic refinement.
