The Aragon 24K preamplifier, designed by Mondial Designs, is a convergence of art and engineering with elegant simplicity. It features an outboard Improved Power Supply (IPS) that converts AC power to 24V DC, enhancing performance with a total capacitance of approximately 30,000 µF. The preamp includes a built-in phono stage with internal adjustments for various cartridge loads, supporting both MM and MC cartridges with great flexibility. It offers 5 line-level inputs (Tuner, CD, Aux, Tape 1, Tape 2), 1 phono input, 2 tape outputs, and 2 preamp outputs. The sound is characterized as very authentic, musical, clear, transparent, and unbiased, with a balanced presentation delivering powerful bass and silky highs. It projects a realistic soundstage with refined detail and smoothness, suitable for long listening sessions without fatigue.
