About the PH-150

The ModWright Instruments PH-150 Reference is a two-chassis, all-tube MM/MC phono preamplifier using Lundahl input step-up and output transformers, zero-feedback gain circuitry, and an external solid-state PS-150 power supply. It supports extensive on-the-fly cartridge loading and gain adjustment, stereo/mono operation, phase reversal, and selectable fully balanced XLR or single-ended RCA outputs. The design uses two 6C45 triodes and two 6922/6DJ8/7308-compatible tubes. ModWright’s current product listings and documentation identify the PH-150 as an available product; therefore it should not be classified as no longer manufactured, although production status may vary by region or revision.
