About the MK Sound MX 350 THX

The MK Sound MX 350 THX subwoofer uses two ultra high-performance 12-inch long-throw, coated pulp cone, magnetically shielded drivers housed in a sealed Deep Bass enclosure. It employs MK Sound's Balanced Push-Pull Dual Drive Amplifier technology with proprietary Headroom Maximizer IV circuitry to prevent amplifier clipping and unwanted audible artifacts. This design delivers massive power, extremely clean sound, and extraordinary articulation with enormous output and dynamic range. The Push-Pull Dual Driver Configuration virtually eliminates even-order harmonic distortion and doubles the sound power per watt of amplifier power, resulting in 6 dB additional output. The subwoofer features a continuously variable phase adjustment from 0 to 180 degrees for perfect integration with any speaker system and room. It includes speaker level and line level connections for flexible setup and an automatic On/Standby switching circuit that activates the amplifier when a signal is detected and powers down after inactivity. The frequency response extends flat to well below 20 Hz, providing lifelike power and authority unmatched by many other subwoofers. The unit is finished in black satin with a black cloth grille and is THX certified for home theater use.
