About the Carbon

The Miyajima Laboratory Carbon is a stereo moving-coil phono cartridge based on the Takumi’s tonal balance, but fitted with a line-contact stylus for extended high-frequency response. It uses a thin cantilever reinforced with carbon nanofibers to improve outline, core definition, and overall sound balance. It is described by the manufacturer and dealers as a refined, balanced cartridge with a nude line-contact diamond stylus and Miyajima’s Cross Ring motor design.
