About the Z-Stabilizer

The MIT Z-Stabilizer is a high-end power line conditioner designed to work in parallel with audio systems to control Audio Frequency Distortion (AFD) without limiting current or adding distortion. It uses patented parallel AC Filterpole technology, a tuned LCR circuit that absorbs and converts AC noise into harmless heat, resulting in cleaner power with lower noise floor. This technology enhances audio performance by delivering greater clarity, increased contrast, enhanced dynamics, better imaging, and a more lifelike soundstage. The Z-Stabilizer also incorporates Power Factor Correction (PFC) to optimize the phase angle of the AC sine wave, improving energy efficiency and prolonging component lifespan. It is designed to be placed near audio/video equipment and has no on/off switch, working instantly when plugged in. The unit typically features two outlets and a power indicator, with a detachable power cord allowing flexible cable selection. It is recommended for use with power amplifiers and can significantly improve low-level musical detail and soundstage extension. The Z-Stabilizer is part of MIT's Z Series power products, which also include other conditioners and power bars using similar technology.
