About the CD 66E
The MHZS CD 66E is a high-end audiophile vacuum tube CD player featuring selectable upsampling frequencies to 44.1KHz, 88.2KHz, 176.4KHz, and up to 192KHz/24bit for normal CDs. It uses a proprietary DAC and includes a top-loading transport with a solid metal mechanism for stability. The player has a dense metal chassis with a large toroidal power supply, contributing to its weight and build quality. It features visible 12AX7 vacuum tubes behind a blue-tinted glass window, which also serves as an access panel for tube replacement. The display is configurable to show track information and time details. It supports balanced XLR analog outputs for fully balanced audio systems and digital coaxial and optical outputs.
