About the X-10T Studio

The Meyer Sound X-10T Studio Monitor is a two-way system combining a 15-inch woofer and a 4-inch compression driver housed in a vented enclosure measuring approximately 30 x 31 x 21 inches (HxWxD). It delivers extended bandwidth from 22 Hz to 17 kHz with a ±2 dB frequency response, and a maximum SPL of 136 dB at 1 meter. The system uses a 4-inch compression driver with an aluminum-alloy diaphragm, neodymium magnet, and ferrofluid-cooled voice coil, coupled to a 90° x 45° constant-Q waveguide for wide, even coverage. Both drivers are powered by Class AB/H MOSFET amplifiers, with 1,200 watts for the woofer and 620 watts for the compression driver. The X-10T is designed to provide transient response rivaling electrostatic panels, with very low distortion thanks to proprietary servo-feedback technology on the woofer and advanced horn design on the high-frequency driver. It is suitable for large control rooms and high-SPL applications, and can be complemented by the X-800 subwoofer for increased headroom without extending frequency response.
