About the Thor

The Merrill Audio Thor monoblocks are engineered to deliver precise, detailed, and musical sound reproduction with a focus on minimizing noise and distortion. They utilize Hypex Ncore UcD modules, Cardas XLR inputs with silver pins and rhodium plating, and Cardas speaker binding posts. The chassis is milled from solid billet aircraft-grade aluminum, providing excellent vibration isolation. Each unit includes a custom Furutech/Cardas power cord and Stillpoints Ultramini risers for further isolation. The Thor is designed to be a more affordable entry point to Merrill Audio’s flagship Veritas, while retaining much of its performance and build quality.
