The Sooloos Control 15 combines storage, playback, and control in a single, free-standing unit, eliminating the need for multiple components. It features a 17-inch, high-resolution (1280 x 1024) color touchscreen for intuitive navigation, a slot-loading CD drive for direct music import, and a 500GB internal hard drive capable of storing approximately 1,000 CD albums in lossless FLAC format. The system supports a variety of audio formats including FLAC, MP3, WAV, AAC, and AIFF, with resolutions up to 96kHz/24-bit. It includes Meridian’s full suite of DSP technologies for audio enhancement, and outputs digital audio via Meridian SpeakerLink and S/PDIF coaxial connections. The Control 15 can be networked with other Sooloos devices for expanded storage or multi-zone playback, and offers access to streaming services and internet radio. Control is available via the touchscreen, Meridian MSR+ remote, or wirelessly through the Sooloos iPhone/iPad app. The machined aluminum chassis is fanless for silent operation, making it suitable for critical listening environments.
