The Meridian M33 is an active loudspeaker designed primarily as a center channel speaker in high-end audio systems. It features twin amplifiers with 85W for bass and 65W for treble, utilizing Meridian's research into low feedback amplifier design to deliver high power and clarity. The speaker employs a two-way infinite baffle design with custom 12.7 cm drive units, including woofers and tweeters, and a sophisticated crossover for optimal frequency response. It supports both balanced and unbalanced audio inputs. The cabinet is constructed from black enameled extruded and cast aluminum, providing a robust and acoustically inert enclosure. The M33 is known for its superb analog crossover and transparent tone controls, delivering precise and natural sound reproduction. It is no longer in production but remains sought after in the used market for its quality and performance.
