About the G57

The Meridian G57 is an award-winning high resolution two-channel power amplifier designed for high performance stereo systems and home theatre applications. It delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms continuously, or when bridged, over 650 watts into 8 ohms or approximately 1000 watts into 4 ohms. The amplifier features balanced XLR-3F and unbalanced phono inputs, with unbalanced signals converted to balanced internally using Meridian's proprietary Super Balanced technology for superior sound quality and noise reduction. The G57 employs a unique ultra-low-feedback design and a capacitor-free signal path for fast, accurate bass and superb overall sound. Its robust dual-mono construction includes multiple pairs of high-powered output devices and audiophile-grade smoothing capacitors per channel. The amplifier has a luxurious bead blasted metal exterior with glass accents and can be rack mounted with an available kit. It includes remote trigger input for standby/on switching, per-channel input and mode switches, and power/fault indicators. The G57 is suitable for pairing with other Meridian G Series components and can form the core of a 7.1 analogue theatre system when combined with Meridian surround controllers.
