About the MB100

The McIntosh MB-100 Media Bridge is designed to serve as a digital media hub, allowing music lovers to access and enjoy digital content from various sources. It features a built-in 1TB hard drive for extensive music storage, with additional connectivity via four USB ports (2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0) and one eSATA port for external drives. The device supports popular streaming services such as Pandora, Spotify, SiriusXM, Rhapsody, and TuneIn, and can stream internet radio. It automatically synchronizes content stored on networked computers and supports cloud backup with Amazon Cloud Drive and Apple iCloud. The MB-100 uses an 8-channel, 32-bit/192 kHz DAC identical to that in McIntosh's D100 preamplifier, with the DAC circuitry isolated from the computing section to reduce interference. It offers balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog outputs, optical and coaxial digital outputs, and HDMI and DVI-D outputs for on-screen graphics only. Control is possible via iOS/Android apps, web browser, or remote control with TV interface. The device is powered by an external DC source and integrates easily into home automation systems.
