The McIntosh MA2275 is a highly regarded, all-tube integrated amplifier known for its rarity and exceptional sound quality. It features two separate power amplifier channels, each capable of delivering 75 watts into 2, 4, or 8 ohm speakers. The amplifier uses McIntosh's patented Unity Coupled Circuit with bifilar wound output transformers, ensuring low distortion, extended frequency response, and cool operating output tubes. It includes five high-level inputs and one phono input for moving magnet cartridges, with tone control bypass capability to remove bass and treble circuits from the signal path. The chassis has a super mirror stainless steel finish, and gold-plated connectors and tube socket contacts provide reliable connections. The MA2275 uses a tube complement of 2 x 12AX7A for phono and high-level preamplifier stages, 2 x 12AT7, and 4 x KT88/6550 tubes for power amplification. It features illuminated blue-eyed power meters, electromagnetic input switching, and an IR remote control. Dimensions are approximately 17.7" W x 10.1" H x 18.7" D, weighing 77 lbs.
