The MartinLogan Tribute 5XW is a high-end in-wall speaker from the Masterpiece CI Series, designed as a tribute to MartinLogan's iconic flagship electrostatic speakers. It delivers exceptional audio realism with no floor space required, featuring a lightning-fast Folded Motion XT Obsidian tweeter, dual 5.25-inch unidirectional carbon fiber multi-section cone woofers with Nomex backers, and matching 6.5-inch passive radiators. These are seamlessly integrated via a flagship-class Vojtko crossover network using audiophile-grade components like custom air core coil inductors, polypropylene film capacitors, and low DF electrolytic capacitors with thermal/current protection. The speaker employs a dense phenolic resin polymer baffle fronted by aluminum for minimal resonances, a sealed back box enclosure, and a die-cast aluminum mounting-lock system. A rotatable tweeter allows for horizontal or vertical aiming, and an optional pre-installation bracket (PN: 5XWBRK) is available. It supports both in-wall and on-wall installations with compatible frames.
