About the Sistine 4XC

The Sistine 4XC from MartinLogan's Masterpiece CI series delivers flagship-class performance in an in-ceiling design. It includes a high-resolution Folded Motion XT Obsidian tweeter (1.25 x 2.4 inch with 4.5 x 2.75 inch diaphragm), two 3.5-inch (8.9 cm) black unidirectional carbon fiber multi-section cone midrange drivers with Nomex backer, cast aluminum baskets, sealed back chambers, and concave dust caps, plus an 8-inch (20.3 cm) unidirectional carbon fiber woofer with similar construction. These are seamlessly blended via a Vojtko crossover network using custom air core coil inductors, polypropylene film capacitors, low DF electrolytic capacitors, and thermal/current protection. The sealed ejection-molded back box ensures consistent performance regardless of wall cavity. Features include tweeter level controls (+2, -2, 0 dB), position switches (Front R/Rear L, Front L/Rear R, center), paintable micro-perforated grille with hidden magnets, optional square grille and pre-install bracket, and easy-access push-style binding posts accepting banana plugs, pins, or 10AWG wire. Installation handle included for overhead work. Provides bold, distortion-free line-source sound across large areas with inverted surround for enhanced excursion and linearity.
