About the IW6

The MartinLogan IW6 is a premium in-wall speaker designed for seamless integration into home audio systems, including distributed audio, stealth home theaters, and hi-fi setups. It incorporates advanced Installer Series technologies such as a ferrofluid-damped titanium dome tweeter for smooth, clear high frequencies and a mineral-filled polypropylene cone woofer with robust ferrite magnet for detailed midrange and extended bass. The speaker features MartinLogan's proprietary Vojtko crossover topology using polyester capacitors and air-core coils for low distortion and precise driver integration. Installation is user-friendly with a robust mounting-lock system, paintable micro-perf bezel-free magnetic grille, and spring-loaded binding posts accepting up to 12AWG wire. Overall dimensions are 11.15" x 8.12" x 3.47" with a mounting depth of 3.17" behind the wall surface. Cutout required is 10-1/8" x 7-1/16". It is currently manufactured and available.
