About the Icon 3XW

The MartinLogan Icon 3XW is part of the Masterpiece CI Series, delivering state-of-the-art sound for home theater and 2-channel listening without occupying floor space. It features a lightning-fast, low-distortion Folded Motion XT Obsidian tweeter, dual 5.25-inch (13.33 cm) unidirectional carbon fiber multi-section cone woofers with Nomex backers for enhanced damping and rigidity, and a flagship-class Vojtko crossover network with audiophile-grade components including custom air core coil inductors. The speaker uses a sealed back box enclosure with a dense phenolic resin polymer baffle fronted by an aluminum faceplate to minimize resonances. A rotatable tweeter allows for horizontal aiming, and it includes a die-cast aluminum mounting-lock system. An optional pre-installation bracket (PN: 3XWBRK) and on-wall frame are available. This design pays tribute to MartinLogan's iconic flagship electrostatic speakers.
