About the Stage X

The MartinLogan Stage X is an advanced center channel speaker designed primarily for home theater use, incorporating MartinLogan's XStat electrostatic panel technology combined with a Folded Motion tweeter and two 6.5-inch aluminum cone woofers. The Folded Motion tweeter is uniquely embedded behind the electrostatic panel to minimize diffraction and improve phase coherence and dispersion. The speaker uses a sophisticated Vojtko crossover and advanced MicroPerf stator technology to increase the effective radiating area, resulting in higher efficiency and dynamic sound. It features a frequency response of 69 Hz to 22 kHz ±3 dB, sensitivity of 90 dB at 2.83V/m, and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. The Stage X weighs 39 pounds and measures 9" H x 34.6" W x 10.3" D (without mounting bracket). It supports amplifier power from 20 to 500 watts per channel and includes custom 5-way binding posts for input connections.
