The MartinLogan Renaissance ESL 15A is a flagship hybrid electrostatic floorstanding loudspeaker from the Masterpiece Series. It combines a large 46 x 15 in XStat CLS electrostatic panel for midrange and treble with two powered 12 in aluminum-cone bass drivers in an asymmetrical, non-resonant enclosure. The bass section uses two onboard 500 W Class-D amplifiers and a 24-bit Vojtko DSP engine, with optional Anthem Room Correction (ARC) capability. Its electrostatic panel offers controlled 30-degree horizontal dispersion, while the PoweredForce Forward bass system is designed to provide deep low-frequency extension and room-adaptable performance. It requires an external power amplifier for the electrostatic panel and AC mains power for its active bass/DSP section.
