About the CLX 25th Anniversary

The MartinLogan CLX 25th Anniversary is a full-range electrostatic loudspeaker featuring separate DualForce™ double-diaphragm, triple-stator dipole low-frequency electrostatic transducers and an XStat™ CLS™ electrostatic transducer for high frequencies. It has a 56–23,000 Hz ±3 dB frequency response, 90 dB sensitivity, and a nominal 6-ohm impedance that falls to 0.7 ohms at 20 kHz. The speaker is compatible with amplifiers rated for 4, 6, or 8 ohm loads and uses a 360 Hz crossover. Its crossover network includes thick-film resistors on alumina substrates, air-core coils, polypropylene capacitors, and custom-wound toroidal audio transformers. The CLX 25th Anniversary weighs 152 lb (69 kg) and measures 70.32 × 25.75 × 14.69 inches (178.6 × 65.4 × 37.3 cm).
