About the CLX 25th Anniversary

The MartinLogan CLX 25th Anniversary loudspeaker represents the culmination of MartinLogan's electrostatic technology since 1983. It features dual electrostatic transducers that deliver exceptionally detailed and pure sound reproduction, faithfully rendering complex musical passages. The speaker uses a DualForce double-diaphragm, triple-stator dipole low-frequency electrostatic transducer for deep, dynamic bass and a XStat CLS electrostatic transducer for high frequencies. It has a frequency response of 56–23,000 Hz ±3dB, sensitivity of 90 dB/2.83 volts/meter, and an impedance of 6 Ohms (0.7 Ohms at 20kHz), compatible with 4, 6, or 8 Ohm rated amplifiers. The crossover frequency is 360Hz. The CLX 25th Anniversary includes premium components such as thick film on alumina substrate resistors, air core coils, polypropylene capacitors, and custom wound toroidal audio transformers. It also features light intensity dimmer controls and custom binding posts for inputs. The speaker weighs 110 lbs (50 kg) and measures 70.32" x 25.75" x 14.69" (178.6 cm x 65.4 cm x 37.3 cm). This model is no longer manufactured and was
