About the Motion LX16

The MartinLogan Motion LX16 is a compact, two-way bookshelf speaker featuring a 1 x 1.4-inch Folded Motion tweeter and a 5.25-inch aluminum-cone woofer. Its rear-ported enclosure is designed to provide extended bass from a small cabinet, while the carefully engineered crossover supports a detailed, dynamic presentation. The LX16 has a frequency response of 60–25,000 Hz (±3 dB), 92 dB sensitivity, 5-ohm nominal impedance, and is recommended for amplifiers rated from 20 to 200 watts. Each speaker measures 11 x 6.5 x 9.5 inches and weighs approximately 12 pounds. It was offered with real-wood veneer finishes, including Piano Black and Cherrywood.
