The Mark Levinson No. 502 Media Console is a premium home theater processor designed to deliver superb audio and broadcast-quality video processing. It features two independent power supplies to isolate digital and analog circuits, 18-layer circuit boards to reduce noise, and fully balanced analog signals to cancel noise. The unit employs a proprietary direct-digital-synthesizer frequency-locked loop to minimize jitter and digital noise, ensuring extraordinary audio fidelity. It supports a wide range of audio formats including Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II/IIx, DTS, and Harman's Logic 7 surround technology. The No. 502 includes automatic room correction that adjusts speaker levels, delays, and frequency responses to neutralize room modes for accurate sound reproduction. Video capabilities include six HDMI 1.1 inputs, component, composite, and upscaling to HD resolutions (720p, 1080i, 1080p).
