About the SR5010

The Marantz SR-5010 is a high-performance 7.2-channel network AV receiver released around 2015-2016, designed for immersive home theater experiences. It delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms with 0.08% total harmonic distortion, using discrete power amplifiers and Marantz's proprietary HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) technology with Current Feedback topology for superior audio fidelity. It supports Dolby Atmos and is DTS:X ready via firmware update, enabling 3D surround sound with height channels. The receiver includes Audyssey MultEQ XT auto speaker setup and room calibration, Dynamic Volume, and Dynamic EQ for optimized sound at any listening level. Connectivity features include 7+1 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs with full HDCP 2.2 support, 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 video pass-through and upscaling, HDR, and BT.2020 wide color gamut compatibility. It supports a wide range of audio formats including FLAC HD 192/24, DSD, ALAC, WAV, MP3, and gapless playback. Network features include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Pandora, SiriusXM, Internet Radio, AirPlay, and DLNA 1.5 for streaming from PCs or NAS devices. Additional features include RS232 control, ECO mode, and a user-friendly GUI with setup assistant. The unit measures approximately 440 x 346 x 161 mm and weighs about 10 kg. It is available in black finish.
