The Marantz CC-4001 is a 5-disc carousel CD changer designed for audiophiles seeking convenience and high-quality sound. It supports regular CDs, home-burned CD-Rs and CD-RWs, as well as MP3 discs. Equipped with a high-performance 192kHz/24-bit Cirrus Logic digital-to-analog converter, it delivers dynamic sound with a wide and deep soundstage. The unit features analog stereo outputs, optical and coaxial digital outputs, a headphone jack, and remote control input/output for integration with compatible Marantz receivers. Additional installation features include a detachable AC power cord, RS-232C port for third-party control, and IR flasher input for remote repeater systems, making it suitable for whole-home audio setups or concealed installations. The front panel is made of sturdy aluminum, combining durability with elegant styling. Playback options include random and repeat play, Auto Music Scan, and a display dimmer. The changer measures approximately 17-5/16" W x 4-9/16" H x 17-1/2" D and weighs about 6.9 kg. It was released around 2006 and comes with a 3-year warranty.
