About the AV7703

The Marantz AV7703 is an 11.2-channel network AV preamplifier and processor for multichannel home theater systems. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, with Auro-3D available through a firmware upgrade. Audio features include 32-bit/192kHz D/A conversion, Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction, Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume, and both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA preamp outputs. Connectivity includes eight HDMI inputs, including one front-panel input, and three HDMI outputs, with HDMI 2.0a, HDCP 2.2, 4K/60Hz video, HDR, BT.2020, and 4:4:4 color support. The unit also provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, HEOS network streaming, high-resolution audio playback, AirPlay, and multi-zone operation. Additional connections include a moving-magnet phono input, AM/FM and HD Radio tuners, digital audio inputs, and legacy analog and component-video connections. The AV7703 includes Marantz HDAM and Current Feedback circuitry, direct listening modes, and extensive app, remote, and custom-installation control options.
