The Manley Laboratories Neo Classic 300B SE/PP monoblock amplifier features the classic 300B output tubes with the ability to switch on-the-fly between 11 watts single-ended and 24 watts push-pull operation. It includes 2 x 300B output tubes, 1 x 6SN7 driver tube, 1 x 6SL7 input tube, and 2 x 5AR4 rectifier tubes. The amplifier offers variable negative feedback from 0 to 10 dB in precise 1 dB steps, allowing users to fine-tune the sound character and damping factor to suit different speakers and listening environments. It has hand-wound output transformers crafted in-house for optimal performance and a rugged chassis with gold-plated connectors. The amp is designed for audiophiles who appreciate the rich midrange, delicate detail, and emotional warmth of 300B tubes, and it can drive efficient speakers effectively despite its modest power ratings. The unit measures 8.5" x 23" x 9" and weighs 41 lbs each. It includes a toggle switch for speaker impedance selection (4-8 ohm or 12-20 ohm) and a mute/operate switch on the front panel. Input is via RCA only, with no balanced XLR inputs. This amplifier is no longer a basic on/off device but offers interactive control reminiscent of classic tube amps from the 1950s and 60s.
