About the MDT-1
The Magnum Dynalab MDT-1 is a compact Dynamyte-series hybrid power amplifier. It combines Magnum Dynalab’s TRACC triode-tube voltage-gain stage, using two 6922 tubes, with Sanken transistor output devices. The manufacturer rates the stereo version at 100 W per channel into 8 ohms and offered an optional mono-block configuration rated at 200 W per channel. It has a 5-inch TFT colour touchscreen and is designed around a half-width chassis format, allowing two Dynamyte components to be positioned side by side or stacked. Note: MDT-1 denotes the power amplifier; it should not be confused with the MDT-1 Hybrid Integrated amplifier or the MDT-1DAC.
