About the V2

The Magico V2 is a high-end, two-and-a-half-way floorstanding loudspeaker featuring two 7-inch Nano-Tec woofers and a 1-inch MR-1 ring-radiator tweeter. It offers a frequency response of 32Hz to 40kHz and a sensitivity of 89dB with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Designed with a sealed-box enclosure, the V2 emphasizes tight, accurate bass and smooth, airy treble with minimal coloration. Its crossover design addresses baffle-step compensation and inter-driver transitions for a neutral and dynamic sound. The speaker weighs 120 lbs each and measures 10” x 42” x 12”. It requires 50 to 300 watts of recommended amplifier power and is known for its fast, taut bass and excellent midrange transparency. The V2 is fussy about amplification, preferring clean, powerful amps, and performs best in open, unobstructed spaces with moderate toe-in for optimal imaging.
