The Magico M5 is a precision-engineered, four-way sealed enclosure loudspeaker designed for audiophiles seeking the highest fidelity. It features five drivers: one MR-1 ring-radiator tweeter, two 6-inch Nano-Tec midrange drivers, and two 9-inch Nano-Tec woofers, all designed in-house by Magico. The Nano-Tec cones incorporate carbon nanotubes for exceptional stiffness and damping, resulting in extremely low distortion and a piston-like behavior across the frequency range. The M5 offers a frequency response of 22Hz to 40kHz, an impedance of 4 ohms, and a sensitivity of 89dB. It is capable of handling 50 to 1000 watts of power. The enclosure is designed to disappear acoustically, providing a seamless and coherent soundstage with minimal coloration or distortion. Each speaker weighs 360 lbs and measures 53" high by 21" deep by 18" wide. The M5 is regarded as one of the finest large multiway cone loudspeakers, noted for its neutrality, detail, and dynamic control.
