The Lyngdorf TDAI-2200 is a true digital integrated amplifier with onboard DSP and optional RoomPerfect room correction, delivering 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and 375 W per channel into 4 ohms with a rated speaker load of 4-8 Ω. It uses Lyngdorf's fully digital amplification architecture with a power supply and modulation scheme designed to preserve dynamic range and low distortion across the usable volume range, rather than a conventional analog volume control. The core configuration provides multiple digital inputs (typically coaxial S/PDIF, optical/Toslink, and AES/EBU), plus digital outputs, with optional analog input modules available to add line-level sources and, in some versions, phono capability. The TDAI-2200's DSP section supports electronic crossover functions and flexible bass management for integrating main speakers with subwoofers, along with user-configurable voicings. A key option is Lyngdorf's RoomPerfect system, which performs automated room-response measurements via a calibration microphone and generates correction filters to optimize loudspeaker and subwoofer performance in real listening rooms, offering different listening modes and presets. The amplifier is housed in a robust chassis with a clean, minimalist front panel dominated by a large multifunction dial and display, and is supplied with remote control. It is widely regarded for its high output capability, low distortion, and neutral, transparent sound, especially when used with RoomPerfect and appropriate DSP configuration.
