About the SDA-2400
The Lyngdorf SDA-2400 is a high-performance stereo power amplifier designed for audiophiles seeking pure sound quality and versatility. It features both analog (single-ended RCA and balanced XLR) and digital inputs (coaxial up to 192kHz/24-bit and optical up to 96kHz/24-bit) based on the Wolfson WM8804 PLL Transceiver, ensuring excellent dynamic performance and jitter tolerance. The amplifier delivers 2 x 400 W at 4 Ohms and 2 x 200 W at 8 Ohms with very low and linear distortion, achieved through Pulse Width Modulation with patented switch speed optimization technology at a fixed 390 kHz switching frequency and minimal feedback control. It has an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 117 dB (A-weighted) and channel separation of 96 dB at 1 kHz. The SDA-2400 automatically enters standby mode when no signal is detected and powers on automatically upon signal detection, with options for always-on mode and 12V trigger input/output for daisy chaining multiple units. Its anodized aluminum matte black chassis measures 45 x 7.3 x 36 cm and weighs 6.5 kg. The amplifier runs cool due to efficient MOSFET technology, making it suitable for long listening sessions. It is ideal for traditional stereo, multichannel setups, or as a powerful amplifier for media players and streaming devices with integrated volume control, eliminating noise from external sources.
