About the LTA-710

The Luxman LTA-710 is a completely new design tonearm developed over two and a half years through a collaboration between Luxman and SAEC, a manufacturer with over 40 years of tonearm design experience. It features a vertical knife-edge bearing assembly with high mechanical precision for excellent initial sensitivity. The 10-inch (256mm) effective length minimizes tracking errors and improves damping against surface vibration, allowing faithful reproduction of even the gentlest musical signals from vinyl records. The tonearm supports detailed adjustments including stylus pressure, anti-skating, and height adjustment to accommodate a wide range of phono cartridges. It comes with a machined aluminum headshell fitted with 7N-Class D.U.C.C. (99.99998% pure copper) lead wires for superior conductivity. The LTA-710 is designed as a universal type compatible with various turntables, and Luxman offers optional mounting bases for integration with their PD-171A, PD-171AL, and PD-191AL models, as well as compatibility with third-party tonearms.
