About the E07

The Luxman E-07 is Luxman's current flagship phono preamplifier, released in late 2025 to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary. It replaces the discontinued tube-based EQ-500 with a fully solid-state, non-feedback design featuring four parallel FETs in the input stage and custom super permalloy MC step-up transformers (two per channel for low/high impedance). Housed in a rigid aluminum chassis with a double 3.6mm copper base plate, density gradient cast-iron feet, and a blasted white front panel matching Luxman's amplifiers. It offers three inputs (1x balanced XLR for MC, 2x unbalanced RCA), balanced/unbalanced outputs, mono mode, phase inversion, low-cut filter, and articulator function for demagnetizing cartridges and transformers. Power supply uses three independent OI-type transformers for L/R channels and control circuits, with five large 10,000μF block capacitors. Renowned for exceptional resolution, naturalism, low noise, and build quality.
