About the PD444

The Luxman PD-444 is a high-end direct-drive turntable with a crystal-controlled, flat brushless DC servo motor and load-free spindle system. It has a 30 cm, 2.5 kg die-cast aluminum platter, 33 1/3 and 45 rpm speeds, and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 75 dB. The chassis accommodates two tonearms—typically a conventional 9–10-inch arm and a 12-inch arm—and includes interchangeable arm bases and a tonearm selector. Wow and flutter is specified at no more than 0.025% WRMS.
