The LUMIN X1 represents the pinnacle of digital audio playback, serving as a fully featured streamer, high-resolution DAC, and digital preamplifier. It employs a dual-mono architecture throughout for maximum channel separation, powered by dual ESS SABRE ES9038Pro DAC chips delivering exceptional 140dB dynamic range. A new processor enables native DSD512 (22.6MHz, 1-bit) and PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit stereo playback. Key technologies include a Femto Clock System with FPGA precision distribution to minimize jitter, fully balanced analog output stage with dual Lundahl LL7401 transformers, and an entirely new external power supply with separate digital/analog sections and low-noise linear regulators. Optical network isolation via SFP port eliminates digital noise, while comprehensive streaming support includes Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, and more. Leedh Processing provides lossless volume control, with upsampling options to DSD128 or PCM 384kHz.
