About the Squeezebox Duet
The Logitech Squeezebox Duet is a network music system consisting of two main components: a compact receiver that connects to your home audio system and a handheld controller with a 2.4-inch color LCD screen. It streams digital music from your computer or Internet radio to any stereo system or powered speakers within your home network. The receiver supports both wired Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) for flexible connectivity. It features a high-fidelity 24-bit Wolfson DAC for crystal-clear CD-quality sound and offers multiple audio outputs including stereo RCA, optical, and coaxial digital outputs. The handheld controller operates wirelessly with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and includes a charging cradle. The system supports a wide range of audio formats including MP3, AAC, FLAC, Apple Lossless, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, and more. It also provides access to numerous Internet radio stations and streaming services via Logitech's SqueezeNetwork and apps. The intuitive controller interface includes a scroll wheel, backlit menus, and easy navigation for browsing playlists, albums, and artists.
