The Linn Ikemi is a premium integrated CD player released around 1999, positioned as Linn's top CD player below the flagship Sondek CD12. It incorporates trickle-down technology from the CD12, including proprietary '2-D' digital signal processing for minimal jitter, a precision-machined Mekto CD transport mechanism, Pacific Microsonics HDCD decoding, and Linn's Brilliant switch-mode power supply for low noise and high regulation. The player delivers smooth, refined sound with excellent dynamics, resolution, and soundstaging, supporting both standalone use and integration as a transport via Sync Link. It features balanced and single-ended analog outputs, multiple digital outputs, and compatibility with Linn's Knekt multiroom system. No longer manufactured.
