The Linn Pekin AM/FM tuner integrates advanced knowledge from previous Linn tuners to deliver a powerful and musical performance with a unique standard of pitch. It features manual, automatic scan, or pre-set tuning with 80 user-definable presets and is software upgradeable for future developments. The tuner includes user-programmable functions for customization, fully screened low-noise circuitry to avoid interference, and high overload margin with high sensitivity for clean capture of faint signals in crowded airwaves. It has a wide range, accurate signal strength meter and adjustable mute/scan threshold to match local reception conditions. The Pekin provides two audio outputs for primary and distributed sound systems, an electrical remote control socket for remote switch-on of other Linn products and direct connection of Knekt multi-room equipment, and a universal input low noise switch-mode power supply for high immunity to mains noise. It is easy to operate via front panel or remote control handset, with clear information display and simple key presses for common functions. Dimensions are 80mm H x 320mm W x 325mm D, weighing approximately 2-3 kg depending on source. Power consumption is about 7W.
