The Linn Majik DS-I is a solid-state integrated amplifier featuring a high-quality digital-to-analog converter (DAC), Ethernet network streaming capabilities, and a built-in phono preamplifier for vinyl playback. It supports multiple analog and digital inputs, including 3 line-level analog inputs, 3 coaxial S/PDIF digital inputs, and 3 optical TosLink digital inputs, plus digital outputs. The unit supports various digital audio formats such as FLAC, AIFF, WAV, ALAC, AAC, and MP3, with sampling rates up to 192kHz and word lengths of 16 and 24 bits. It includes a moving magnet (MM) phono stage with 40dB gain and 47k ohm input impedance. Powered by Linn's proprietary Dynamik amplifier technology and Chakra amplification, it delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, ensuring precise and powerful sound reproduction. The Majik DS-I integrates seamlessly into home networks via Ethernet, allowing streaming from NAS devices and control via UPnP-compatible software.
