The Linn Majik 6100 is a 6-channel power amplifier designed for stereo or multi-channel systems, producing 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms and 56 watts into 8 ohms. It utilizes Linn's patented Chakra amplifier topology, which dynamically combines monolithic chip speed and precision with the robustness of bi-polar transistors, ensuring clean, controlled power at all listening levels. The amplifier is powered by Linn's Dynamik switch-mode power supply, providing stable, low-noise power rails with high mains noise isolation and efficiency, resulting in a compact, cool-running unit. The Majik 6100 features RCA phono inputs and outputs for daisy-chaining, high-quality 4mm banana/binding post speaker connections, and energy-saving automatic signal-sensing circuitry that switches the amplifier to sleep mode when idle. It is internally upgradeable with Aktiv crossover cards for integration into a fully Aktiv system. Available in black or silver finishes, the amplifier weighs approximately 4.9 kg and measures 381 mm wide, 90 mm high, and 360 mm deep. It is suitable for use with Linn Selekt or Majik DSM systems and can be configured for surround sound or multi-channel setups.
